Happy Easter!

Wow! The Lenten Season quickly passed. It is now Easter and it is time for rejoicing. I found a lot of observations about the Lenten season but I am not gonna talk about it now, to each his own, as I would say. But I do find it nice that for the sake of argument I asked Simsimi about its opinion about eating meat on Black Saturday and it gave an opinion that I agreed with. So that was fun.

We are creating new traditions this year. Most families would be at malls in the next city and perhaps joining the Easter Egg Hunts these big malls provide. I would but seeing large crowds with about a month to go in my pregnancy feels daunting to me at best. Maybe next year, I can let the kids join.

Happily, my kids got treated to a treat because I kept bugging their dad and he found them some egg shaped chocolates which we hid around the house. As a treat, they also got to eat ice cream today and their favorite - pansit palabok. Yum!
